Release yourself from the clutches of life
Let not any Entanglement get you carried away
Just dive into the world of "free"-ness
Coz life jingles up at the wink of the eye!!
Laugh not for the sake of being happy
Cry not to lament for pity
Feel is what should rule within
Gloom-Bliss will then seem sedentary
Whats in a smile - simple muscle crunching?
Or a face lighted up..
not just for its owner, but
For all those who bear witness to it?
A simple smile that stretches
From lips and meets the eye
Speaks a whole lot
Than an expression gone by..
Use your eyes, more to speak
Brighten up the atmosphere
Sing and chant along the hymns
Not for the sane but for the happy
Signs of fear let them sway
Smiles around you..just need to give in
Open up your arms, quench your crave
For the melodies of sanctified sin
Why think twice for
what your heart says
why care for the journey
when you know the destination
Just move with the flow, not of the hoi polloi
but of your own soul...
A soul not ruled by body
but a soul which vents through it!!!
Where soul meets body
There is where paradise lies
This is when you reach your home
The home of your dreams!!

When life comes to a standstill!!!
There were days when you wished if life had a pause button of its own. You felt like taking that step backward so as to finish off a lot of incomplete things. You wished if only the day were of 48 hours. Feel to split up yourself to convince, impress everybody, enjoy everything you want. But alas it doesn't happen and then you have to let go of of many things and enjoy with the few for which you took a positive call.
And all of a sudden you are now gifted with transience, opulence, extravagance of TIME which was otherwise running away from you. You seem to be struck with this surprising metamorphosis of your routine. Having always been made to go through a time-scarcity phenomena, the few moments free from engagements do infuse a tingling sensation as of an illusion. The realisation in itself seems to be a dream. By the time you are awake to actually grasp the motionless life as it seems to be, you are all loaded and geared up. For you are expectantly preparing for the unfinished, long awaited tasks to add that touch of soigne to your otherwise perfect but incomplete life.
There you stand by your window looking outside at the treadmill-paced up life of the city, failing to realise the pace though. What more strikes to you is the stillness of the huge lifeless buildings. The Water dripping off the hooves of the houses from last night's rains. The cradle that was always the neighbourhood child's best friend but now kept desserted in the terrace. This is when you feel like why is life taking a turn for you.
Looking at the mirror, you feel like posing a question why do my eyes look so lightened up!! Is it because today you had that extra hours of sleep, or is it just for that tinge of randomness in your life which you are all willing to experience. For that moment you want to do off with all the petite things that you had planned to wrap up. Just feel swayed by the nothingness that life gifts you, feel gifted to be living on your own terms, feel complete from within, feel blessed to feel life!!!

Romance Rekindled!!!
Here comes Plain White T's "I love you" playing the protagonist in this post...nevertheless it has also been the inspiration behind it!!! Sitting in the dark..with a power cut to be persisting the entire night i try to resort to my gloomy side for trivial reasons, and just before i could try to be morose, freshness pours in through the serene candle light further enhanced by the video of the rhythmic tunes of "I love you"...cute is the word as described by a friend. Period. That's how the video unfolds giving you more and more of an opportunity to fall in love.
Having said this, the song in itself is deeply intriguing tickling your senses to crave for more and more of it. You are already smitten by the feel of romance. No room for any more mushiness by anybody. The spell in itself is so hypnotizing.
Why do you need any soul to feel love...why do you need to hear the three words from somebody..why do you need to be felt special in the most aesthetic way...Love needs no personification..no reciprocation..in abstract it can exist. Just let yourself free fall to the rhythm of that transient state in which you are ready to be moulded..ready to be felt..ready to be loved..
And thats how one gets wafted by the breeze, smitten by fancy thoughts of getting wet in the rains, sailing through waves of joy making one feel free and fall in love all over again..not to love or be loved but just to experience LOVE the way it is...

METRO MANIA
There came Dhobi Ghat and now comes Delhi Belly...
Both the movies have many things in common other than just the production houses...
when one ponders to think of Dhobi Ghat...after having watched that movie there was a blank expression..what was the movie all about...was there some story...some motto...well it leaves u clueless in that regard. Only thing that touched your heart was the way it portrayed the austere life of Mumbai. And no its not the urban Mumbai. It was more of the dirty ugly side of suburb mumbai which was portrayed with some immensely beautifully put acting charisma of some newbies as seen in the movie..
And then flashes Delhi Belly...another one from aamir and his wife's production house depicting another great metro of our nation. No storyline..no drama..yet the movie runs housefull...full of slangs...unbearable scenes..right from the red light ares to the thatched broken poorly built houses evrything which Delhi wouldnt like to boast of was portrayed. And even then you come out of the movie amazed...fresh faces..fresh acting..hardly any typical songs to soothen your hearing sensations....
What is it thats making or otherwise simply changing this era of movies. What are aamir n kiran trying to portray or signify with such a genre of movies. Which is very much not for all types of movie lovers..but still they are able to leave a very good impression on a very good fraction of society. Maybe its just because of the way its produced and enacted that the movie works out well..or maybe the Indian crowd with time and sensibility feels the need of a change. Well nothing more can be said..for now we are sure to experiment more with such unconventional yet commercial plays because its their time to stay here for sometime from now.....

"Hope is a very GOOD thing"
Tim Robbins echoes this through the layers of dialogues in a subliminal way to Red, the lead morgan freeman in Shawshank Redemption. The movie which teaches us how if one can live upto one's own hope, one's own expectations then he can never dwell in vanity. Nevertheless life has its own way of teaching us. Throws stones at us, makes us go through morbid situations, distress and gloom are designed to be our retreat. Life with its turpitude can actually bring us to that breaking point. The point where we feel like discarding being an earthizen.
But this is where hope reflects upon and helps the distressed to break all odds and over rule. That's when man learns to ride across the barriers of the dictatorship of distress over his life. These are the points when we realize that its not only we who are sinned or cursed. Its mandatory for every soul to have his own share of rejections and setbacks. Just that it becomes visible to the outside for some people and invisible for the others.
Taking the instance of Morgan Freeman who had incessantly been rejected to be released from Shawshank jail for 40 long years, finally is confronted with approval of being released. Then is what he realizes how good is to hope, how good it feels when our hopes come true, then is when we realize how good the entire journey of sufferings and torment have proved worthy of going through.
If it so happened that life gives us everything without even a single bumpy ride how would we learn to hope for things, how would we build upon on the divine virtue of faith, how would we know what it feels to reach the end where lies nothing but serenity and peace. Thats what is stressed upon, let time around us, the world around us not make us fall prey to its plotted falling points. Then is when triumph would join hands with us. Thats what is called victory over everything.

Meghna its for you
"You might spend hours and days and months wooing a girl and she might all be shy, or scared to reciprocate. But, when she does, having gathered her guts and erasing previous memories.. do not act smug, do not act indifferent, do not be cool, do not be mean. Let her rush into your open arms, else she will be left nursing a sad,sad heart "-- Every Girl in this World.
What more can you think of. This was the quote by one of my very thoughtful friend. And so beautifully put. It just simply touched my heart to the core. It brings back all the pain that a girl suffers. All the tolerance that she goes through. All the efforts that she takes to keep up her relationship.
The world typifies a girl as somebody having a very strong and crude heart when it comes to love. But does it realise what actually takes for her to love somebody. Does it realise that once she makes up her mind to love somebody she has given herself entirely to it. And what does she simply expect in return, her love remains the same as the one who did everything to woo her. When a girl takes her time to decide..its not her indifference or hard-heartedness towards the opposite sex. she wants to ensure that she doesn't repeat the mistakes of her past, she doesn't end up into a fake relationship.
And very smartly put by my friend. If she is in love realise it. Feel the importance of being loved by her. Encourage the tit-bits that she takes up to enrich the love between the two. Flourish her dreams and always keep your minds open to relaxation to her mistakes. Nobody is perfect after all. Even a girl goes through alot. Its more important to stand by her and not refute her.
Leave not your girl alone, ignoring the sadness of her life. Let not distress befall her on grounds of the love between the two. Let not her heart be ever left to crying in the dark within herself. Share her tears and turn them into serene moments of love. That's when you grow up and stand by the love for which you had once given up everything else.

Calligraphy or Typography
Laptops, macbooks, ipads, iphones....and ofcourse their sequels steering the world of technology to greater heights. and what can we see.. the youth flashing all of these all the more considering them to be instruments to adorn their fashion statement. adding to which is the changing system of education making it more oriented towards technology. this has led to a lot of paper being left off the shelves giving it a better name under recycling(i doubt how much of it is done with that cause in mind).
Talking about papers being replaced now we come to the missing relevance of a good handwriting. the days when toddlers were made to sit and inherit a beautiful style of putting letters down have gone and been replaced with kids flashing gadgets(about which we got to know as adults) and learning how to handle them. now this has put a lot of redundancy on the benefit of attaining a good handwriting. but do you think its right to change our outlook in this way? why switch to a world of keyboards and get driven by the order of qwerty?
When the saying goes the pen is mightier than the sword, we definitely need to realise the importance of writing. coz writing is in my opinion the best way to express oneself. and when good handwriting comes along with it, its a pleasure to the reader too. so why not let your writing skills be glamorized more. we might turn to the thought of storage of our articles which is convenient in typing down but why not give a thought of taking up the age-old diary habit..and not just follow the rest of the world.
After all a man's personality is reflected from his hand-writing. so its time to switch to the uplifting the creativity of stylish writing. coz pens will always remain mightier than the sword. so why prefer typography over calligraphy.

'I' for 'India' or umm Ireland....
The India that it is. Totally diverse and scattered. But unified at one and that is cricket. the mania that it upheld surpasses whatsoever budget or scams or verdicts may come or go. Thats how India stands unique and different from the rest of the world. Cricket runs wild as fire in the blood of we Indians. And its not in India vs XYZ match that it gets manifested. the enthusiasm is evident in other matches as well.
Just take the recent England vs Ireland match. Minnows taking over a super-power and that too without much of a manouevre. Such sheer brilliance of the Irish adding up to the beauty of a World Cup match. worth mentioning is the fastest WC 100 in just 50 balls against a team known for its bowling squad. And we were wondering England isn't that easy a team after it tied with our home team considering the scoreline seeming unattainable.
With the tables turning over for England against Ireland, a lot of apprehensions have been drawn ahead of the India vs Ireland match. And definitely critics and fans are coming up with their own notions as to if there is no change in strategy in the Indian team then things would be sour on our stride as well. Now that Ireland isn't a minnow anymore.
Expectations, hopes all these drive the Indian mentality and Indians are open to witnessing a lot of excitement. Just wondering if victory gets mixed with this excitement then it would be worth a WC match to look out for.

Love as it should be
This is my first stint with something romantic. And specifically its the love between those struck by cupid's dose of magic potion. I'll strike a different cord this time. Love has been harsh, brutal and painstaking for many. Several have failed to survive the struggle of love. But alas my friend here is the irony. LOVE isn't a struggle entirely at all- that's where the essence lies. It comes naturally to those who are truly enveloped by this divine virtue. It requires no effort at all to love and feel being loved. Talking about the feeling of being loved is no doubt very enthralling. To see your lover taking difficult measures to consolidate your loss, suffice your worries and offer the most rejuvenating solutions to your problems is definitely a second paradise. There being no space for emptiness in your life. No matter where you are, how you are, your love is always there beside you if not physically but mentally. Spirited-high and enamored beautifully is this feeling of being loved.
And talking bout showering one's love for somebody, it just requires one thing. The realization of love. Its purity. Its irrelevance of being reciprocated..nevertheless if reciprocated its the best the doer can ask for. It stands free from any obligations. The mesmerizing state leading one to oblivion and causing one to restrain from any external forces that defy one's internal thoughts of action- that is what comes with true love.
Love in its serenity stands apart from all worldly feelings. Transcends human expectations and needs. Makes its doers resort to an arena of benevolence. The power of love is stronger than the strongest of bonds. Bonded by emotions but not bounded by restrictions. One just needs to gauge its true nature. Then is when one gets the gift of love unwrapped and truly desired for.

Should MBAs be taxed at higher rates in the country?
Just the other day i heard one of my friend's cousin getting placed at some financial firm while she was in the final year of her management degree in IIFT Delhi. But it wasn't just the news of her getting placed that was of joy, it was specifically the package that she was offered....a whopping 17 lakhs. And let me tell you its not very unsual nor very surprising for somebody paasing out from any of the IIMs per say. Especially when IIMs A, B, C have that figure as their average salary.
Coming to the topic, admitting the fact that MBA definitely means money all the way. The salaries mba graduates earn is just increasing all over the globe. And many questions will arise at this point regarding the taxes that they should pay. And in a country like India with a maximum of population below poverty line and considering the fact that less than 4% of the population contribute to 96% of the wealth in the country, it becomes very evident to propose that MBAs should be taxed at higher rates.
But how well do you think is this proposal justified? The basis of which lies in the unequal distribution of wealth. But the thing which seems to be missing from this scene is the fact that what kind of MBAs get paid that much. I mean we have MBA institutes increasing by hundreds everyday but not all can boast of the selection criteria or for the matter the standard of education provided by top B-Schools in India. Seeing the number of CAT aspirants increasing day by day and the increasing competition that comes along with it and the selection policies being reformed as to select the best from the lot it seems to be a perfect scenario of "The survival of the fittest". Not everybody gets into an IIM. And currently chasing the same dream it wont be wrong to say that the pain that goes into getting into one cannot be compared.
And its not just getting admitted which ends the story. Surviving throughout the 2 years of rigorous study isn't easy as well. And then when you land up with a job that has great moolah why is it being over-hyped. And for that matter why be taxed higher. Now that shouldn't be justified. Just because their salaries come to notice unlike the thousands of corrupted officials who earn more than they should behind the scenes. no doubt MBA graduates can be made to think in a way to contribute effectively to the nation's existing problems. rather than bringing forward an imposed and biased form of tax-paying regulations, subjects like social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility should be more of concern. that would definitely be a more sound approach to tackle the problem of poverty and India's economy.
And why take to another form of inequality even if its in matters of tax-paying, when already there are so many disparities existing in the nation.
